I just had to leave this theme up for tonight, I'll change it back tomorrow...
I've been working for 2 days on getting the snow like I want it in the image, or get it to do what I wanted it to do in the image, I have other speeds that are slower for the snow...
What a headache... so I had to show you Foxy, what ya think?
I know it's too early, but I wanted to get it done... I'll change it back tomorrow |

And speaking of Christmas, yesterday, I bought my first two Christmas gifts. Came across something so perfect for a couple of the preteen girls on my list. I always feel so good when I find something soooo perfect. |

Yes, I will surely share that with you when you're ready and needing it. I still have some test to run with the background, but I have plenty of time now that I do have a Christmas Theme all ready to go, like I had at Yuku... I sure miss Yuku, but I don't miss TTalk, they ruined Yuku
But I sure like it here at ProBoards and all the modifications and tweaking we can do here...
Now all we need are some Members to help us get the boards Rockin' and Rollin'
I just switched the theme back to normal...

We get lots of visitors here. I had gotten up to having as many as 200 in one night. It was enough to cause my page views to increase so much that my monthly price went up, yet no one was joining. I closed the group for awhile to keep the price down. I later remembered that in my settings I could have it set to NOT turn off ads for guests, so I opened it back up and changed the setting. |

I have the Castle bookmarked, just like I do here, that's the only way I have to get around the groups here at ProBoards, anyway I had noticed the ads when I first went to your group and wondered why they were there, and gone after I logged in...
So I take it they do not count the pages viewed with ads on for the guests, against your monthly quota?
Question 2) What if I just stay logged in and let my computer go to sleep, if I am still logged in and my computer goes to sleep, does it show that I'm "online" or off line?
So at this time 8:52 PM, I am staying logged in, so at the time that you read this message, does it show that I'm online or off line? |

That is true. It is 10:49 PM and you are being shown offline at the Castle and here. There is another way to navigate ProBoards. Look at the very bottom right of your screen. You will see 3 buttons there. 1. Allows you to switch between accounts. 2. Allows you to switch between forums you belong to. 3. Is account settings |

I'm getting to where I like ProBoards better than Yuku... And I liked Yuku a lot, I just got busy with other projects that year that the ship went down

I liked it too, Richard, but near the end, they got almost unbearable. They were broke. Could not update or fix anything or hire more help. The reached a point that they were down as much as they were up and running. We, who were there every day, got pretty sick of Yuku. It was easy for me to leave there once I found a suitable home for my Castle Dwellers. I like what Yuku was when I went there in 2008. I did not like what they were in 2017. Someday soon, ProBoards is going to unveil ProBoards V6. I think there will be some nice, new features.

I guess then it was best that I missed what went on the last year... I had thought the issue started after TT bought out Yuku, but it sounds like there was already too many problems before TT took it over, and that just sort of put the icing on the cake
Looking forward to seeing what they might be adding for the V6 version |

Yuku, as we knew it from it's heyday, was gone. They finally admitted that they had been just patching up their problems rather than updating as it should have. They had let it go so long without proper updating that it could no longer function without frequent and long term outages. They finally told us it was time for a complete rebuild. They said nothing would change and our profiles with pics would be preserved and brought over to the new Yuku System. So started the lies. It was far into things before we knew it was no longer Yuku and EVERYTHING would change and those who had precious images stored on profile had lost them. When I learned the truth, I made a quick exit.
I love ProBoards and I sure am glad you do. After all, I did lead you here. Would not want to lead you astray.
