I knew you were busy so I was surprised to see you pop in here, you have no idea how much I appreciate that.

I kind of like using the Cars like in the past. I will get the originals around and put them up in a folder at Image Shack so you can use them, I will post the links somewhere for you. Do you wish I post those links here, or over in the board that you left the link for? (question 1)

I have question 2, as for Image Shack, what is the normal annual or monthly charge?

Question 3, if I make all those images and folders private at Image Shack, can everyone see the images I post on your board? In other words, can you see the images I have posted on your boards? Actually, I guess if you can see the coffee cup with the donut dipping into the coffee on the start thread in this thread, that would also answer that question.

Morning Richard, I tried twice last night to post a message here and twice I lost a long message because Proboards team was working on the site.  That does not have to happen, Richard.  There is a feature to save your drafts.  Maybe you already know that, but if you don't....

To enable the drafts feature:  Click the Profile button found in the top menu bar of the forum, and then on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You will then be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page for your account; once here, click on the Settings tab. When the page loads, you'll find the Enable Drafts located as the 5th option on the page. Set this to Yes and save the changes. Once this is done, drafts of your posts will be saved so that you can restore them as they are needed.

We will see if I can get into your ImageShack account with a link to your images.  Post them on my Special Delivery board in their own thread to identify them.  

I know you like cars and I have some, too.  When I asked what kind if sigs you would like, I meant what kind of special threads you will be posting on, like Last Word, On Top, Gimme a Lil Kiss, Hugs, in general, fun threads.  I know you will need the hi, hello, good morning, good night, have a great day and such as that.  If you want them all and want to post in all threads, I will make them all.

Image Shack is $3.99 a month/$37.99 a year.  I pay by the year.  So much easier that way.  You have unlimited use.

Yes, keep your Image Shack account private.  Your images will show wherever you post them.

ok, I got the Drafts Setting Enabled now. Not sure yet how it works, does it auto save the draft if ProBoards went off line like it did last night? I was just done with the Pit Stop threads when it happened last night, but still needed to edit one.

I will surely be paying image shack by the year, things like that are so much easier, like you said. I have 28 free days left, not sure at that time they will still be offering the 1st year at half off or not, so maybe I should just go ahead and get it paid.

I haven't rounded up all my hotrods to upload yet. I can't believe I had images saved in all different folders, geez, made it hard to find all the images you made for me, and I'm sure I don't have all of them yet. So I will get those uploaded after I get them all rounded up into one folder and keep those originals with nothing on them saved in one folder for the future.

And I have to say, it's nice to be back at the Castle, and nice to have you back here in Cruise Inn too. Now I just have to figure out how to get this group listed in the directory search, and hopefully get a few members. I might try to send out a group message from Tapatalk, I see that feature now sends the message to the users email address, at least that's how the test worked that I sent out to me yesterday just to see what it would do, and if it worked

PS: I really appreciate you coming over to this ProBoards joint. You wouldn't believe how much time I spent on this theme, after getting it all screwed up... serveral times over until I finally figured out what I was doing wrong that changed all the link text sizes to being too large or too small, nothing in between like it is now.

The draft feature is automatic.  If you leave the screen for any reason when you come back to it, a little window will pop up and ask if you wish to post it.  You just click yes and it will take care of it.

The text and link colors and sizes have always been the hardest for me.  Very confusing.   I keep lots of notes on such things   HotRod Cruise Inn is looking really good now.  Like old times. 

I should tell you that ProBoards is working on a new update and there will be a new way of building themes.  It is supposed to be much easier for those of us who are not coders and have no experience in making our own skins.  It will be V6.   They have been working on it as long as I have been here and they have no idea yet when it will be ready for release.  They are in no hurry.  They want it to be right.  We will have 18 months after it is rolled out before we have to change over.

LOL about your images being so scattered.  When you have lots of sigs, I always stress to everyone the importance of good organization.  Really makes your posting go smoothly when your images are easy to find.  So I say make lots of folders and separate everything into its own album/folder.  At my group, we post lots of images.  They are of great importance to us.  Much of our communication is by way of images.

Hi Special Friend, I haven't had time to check out what you left for me to look at. I finally had someone leave a reply with some code to try adding more than 1 image in the banner, I keep getting a Syntax Error and have spent a number of hours trying to work that bug out.

But at least someone has finally offered help

I edited to add: With some of the suggestion I got in support, I now know how to move the image I have at the top, just enough off center to completely cover the corvette behind the image.

ok, so I spent a lot of time after I got the 3 images at the top to locate them where they looked best by changing 1% at a time each way until I got them where I wanted them. Then I realized, after spending all that time, if someone has their browser a different width, it moves the images as everything is set at percentages, my browser is never at full width so I positioned those images to look good there, then when I went to full width it moved the images far apart.

So, I changed the width from 80% to 1100px wide, this will keep the images from spreading far apart. The problem with this fixed width is that Google is not going to like it because it will not be mobile friendly. Problem number 2 is if someone uses a laptop with a screen narrower than 1100px it won't work well either.

So how wide is your screen and browser? I am trying to fiddle with the width to make it 80% with a max-width of 1100px but have not been successful with that code modification yet, but I'm not giving up. So at the time I sent this reply up the wrapper width is still set at 1100px. I will post a message when or if that changes.

Does it currently look ok to you at the width current width setting of 1100px?
