My best guess is if you look in your global footer because that is where I think you put that edit not show code and you might have marked it /* Make edited by not show */ so you would know what the code is for... which that type of mark works in the css but I'm not sure if it would show if you use it in the global footer
So take a look in that global footer and see if it is there |

I had used a css comment code where it should have been an HTML comment code.
