That's a lot of hard work, Richard, but I have always enjoyed yard work. I do have someone now who helps me with my big yard. I had 5 acres and believe me, that is a lot for one person to care for. A few years ago, my best friend and neighbor's oldest son was thinking of getting married. He and I have always been close friends as well. I have known him since the day he was born. We struck up a deal. I would give him half my property in exchange for him helping with yard work. It's the best deal I ever made. I only have half as much property to take care of and he does most of it. In addition to that, he and his wife are the best neighbors I could ever ask for. I love them both, as well as their two little girls.
That worked out Great for You Foxy... Sounds like a Good Deal for sure. I forgot to tell you, after I did that 2 days of yard work, I had Buffalo Wild Wings... Delicious, as usual

Richard, I would have given him the land without any further deal just to get the land in the hands of someone I did not mind living that close to, but he would not have it that way, so we did the trade off and it works really well. I provide the tractor to take care of both properties and he does the mowing. Sure works for me.
Right now, I am sipping on a fresh cup of coffee after my dinner of fried chicken wings.
I don't think I ever knew where you live, Richard. I'm sure you know I am from Little Rock, AR.
I was contacted yesterday by an admin from a TT board that wanted me to come and admin his board for him. He just doesn't want to run a board anymore. I graciously declined but I did invite him and his members to come on over to ProBoards and join Our Fantasy Castle. I hope he will do that. Rick and I know all of them and they are a great bunch of poets.

I sure hope they do come over to ProBoards... I spent a number of hours over the weekend getting a TT profile to work, and I gained nothing by spending that amount of time, I still cannot modify the skin over at TT
I am in Michigan, extreme Southern Michigan, almost in Indiana... And yes I know where you are too...

hmmmm....gets pretty cold in Michigan, doesn't it. You can spend a couple of hours in one of these places without even trying or getting anything done. I spent some time trying to make some preparations for that group of poets that contacted me. Did not hear from them today, but maybe tomorrow or soon. |
